I'm Matthew S., the breeder behind Heirloom Cavaliers located in Le Roy, NY. Raising puppies is truly a family affair. From the moment they're born, our puppies are part of our home and our hearts. We incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) to support their development from the very beginning. Stefanie shares weekly updates with our waiting families.

Why did you start breeding?
As we were looking for a breeder we found out so much information on how breeders can do a variety of DNA and health tests to prevent a variety of inherited diseases that can cost a lot to treat and also be heartbreaking to watch your pet endure. We knew we would love to experience bringing puppies into the world as a family, and also rise to the challenge to produce healthy well adjusted canines.What makes your program special?
We were very picky and patient to find dogs with great pedigrees, health history, as well as ones without white markings. They are also family raised with lots of love.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include ruby and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Matthew
Matthew has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The Price includes the guarantee against life threatening hereditary or congenital defect for one year, AKC limited registration, first round of vaccinations, and deworming. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or size. Includes deworming, health certificate, first round of vaccines, and puppy care package.”
Contract & health guarantee
Matthew may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
