I'm Sharon R., the breeder behind Hemlock Brook Farm and Kennels located in Connecticut. Our dogs and pups are raised in our home and are loved as family. We strive to produce high-quality show prospects and companions. Our breeding program stands out because of the personal attention we give to every detail of the journey. Why did you start breeding?
I bought my first aussie from a friend and then we bought our first show dog from Heatherhill aussies in CA and i started showing and breeding these awesome aussies
What makes your program special?
I put my heart into my dogs they are all health tested fed high quality kibble and raw puppies are socialized and handled able to run about freely on our fenced property
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Australian Shepherd puppies are blue merle. Miniature American Shepherd puppies are blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Binx is a male Australian Shepherd. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Sharon decided to make him part of their program. Sharon has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
