Meet the breeder

I'm Julie L., the breeder behind Hernwood Heelers & Poodles located in Maryland. Top-Quality Poodles Raised with Love and Expertise. We are not a kennel—we are a small, in-home program dedicated to providing the very best one-on-one care to every puppy and parent. We believe this nurturing environment, combined with professional training, creates the ideal companion. Our parents are fully health-tested, actives service dogs. We are Certified Master Trainers who utilize advanced ESA and ESI protocols for superior socialization. What You Get: An AKC-registered puppy that is already started on crate training and grass pad potty training, ensuring they are stable, smart, and ready to thrive as a service dog or cherished family member.

“Both parents are DNA tested, free and clear of all genetic diseases, and are active Service Dogs. Every AKC-registered puppy receives a professional foundation with ESA/ESI programs, plus preliminary crate and grass pad training. They are vet-checked, dewormed starting at two weeks, and receive age-appropriate shots. Invest in a puppy built on unparalleled health and expertise. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on our waiting list or to hold a specific puppy. Non-Refundable: The deposit is non-refundable if the Buyer cancels the purchase for any reason, as this fee compensates the Breeder for lost advertising time and other potential sales opportunities. Breeder Protection: In the unlikely event that the puppy becomes unfit for sale due to illness or injury while still in our care, the deposit will be either fully refunded or transferred to a puppy in a future litter, at the Buyer's discretion.”

Contract & health guarantee

Julie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Julie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Julie directly.
