I'm Nicole H., the breeder behind Hickory Woods Aussies located in Walhalla, SC. We are passionate about Australian Shepherds and labs and look forward to sharing the breed with others who love them just as much as we do! We devote our time, energy, and efforts to each litter to ensure our puppies are properly socialized from the moment they are born and prepared to excel in their forever homes.   • Why did you start breeding?

    We love the Australian Shepherd breed. Our dogs have brought us so much joy and happiness that we wanted to give back to them by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families. Our focus is to produce the best dogs of the highest quality so that other families can also enjoy the love of an Aussie! We are super excited to add labs to our homes and yours.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are passionate about our babies and our love for these dogs shines through in every aspect of our breeding program. We breed with a focus on conformation, structure, and pedigree. We work with passion, heart, and integrity, and we truly want what's best for our puppies and their forever families.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Nicole

Nicole has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $1,350 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes the deworming, and puppies first round of shots. Puppy go home bags. Confirmation of deposit is required to hold your puppy. Deposit will be put towards the total price of your new pup. If refund is needed to do no fault of Hickory Woods Aussies $250 fee will be charged for cancellation fee.”

Contract & health guarantee

Nicole may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Nicole offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Nicole directly.

  • Full Embark Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
