Our experience with Bridget at Hicks Family Homestead was wonderful from beginning to end! She was very communicative, helpful, and welcoming throughout the entire process. You can truly tell how much she cares about her dogs and puppies and wants to make sure they go to loving homes. Duke came home happy and healthy, and he is already such a sweet and playful boy. Bridget gave us helpful information for bringing him home and made the whole experience feel very comfortable for us as first-time puppy parents. We are absolutely in love with Duke and so grateful we found Hicks Family Homestead! We’re excited to watch him grow and keep Bridget updated along the way. Thank you for raising our sweet boy and giving him such a great start!

When we brought Eddie home, we thought we were getting a Labrador puppy. What we actually got was a new member of the family. Eddie has a personality that is impossible to describe without laughing. He’s a professional taco thief, a repeat Tim Tam offender, and somehow always appears within three feet of any food that enters the house. If something hits the floor, Eddie considers it a legal transfer of ownership. He keeps my wife company on the porch, rides with me in the Jeep like he’s been doing it his entire life, and somehow still believes he fits comfortably in a lap despite getting bigger every week. He has claimed spots on couches, chairs, beds, and hearts with equal determination. He’s also one of the most affectionate dogs I’ve ever known. He wants to be where his people are. Whether he’s following us around the house, stretching out next to us after a long day, or looking at us with those expressive eyes, he has become woven into the rhythm of our family. The funny thing about Eddie is that he’s equal parts chaos and joy. He steals boots for attention. He investigates everything. He has absolutely no regrets about any of his decisions. Yet somehow everyone forgives him almost immediately. Looking through our photos, it’s amazing how quickly he went from “the puppy” to simply “Eddie.” Not the dog. Not the puppy. Eddie. Family. We’re grateful to Bridget for giving him such a great start in life. The confidence, intelligence, and loving temperament we see every day are things that were there from the beginning. We got a wonderful dog, but more importantly, we got a friend who has brought a lot of happiness into our home.

I have never used good dog before. When I found Bridgett’s page I saw her wonderful reviews and adorable pups. It was kindve a quick decision I decided to just get a puppy one night and didn’t look back. Bridgette provided weekly updates & responded quickly. If I get another puppy and she’s still doing this , I would definitely go through her again. !

Bridget was great throughout the entire process of getting our sweet pup. She answered all of our questions and gave updates along the way. We also appreciated her daughter driving 2 hours to meet us on pick up day. The take home goody bag was very nice and helped make the transition seamless. We were very happy with our experience and would recommend Bridget to anyone looking to add a wonderful Lab to their family!
