Q. & A. with Jodi
Why did you start breeding?
I was raised with dachshunds and have had my own for nearly all my adult life. My mom bred our doxie when I was young and I am now following her lead: starting small and growing my program slowly while I uphold ideals of the breed and ensure my dogs and their offspring are well loved and cared for. I have a special interest in dachshund genetics!
What makes your program special?
We are a small, in home breeder. However, we aren't just a backyard breeder. We strive to learn more about the breed every day and commit to producing high quality puppies. Our breeding dogs are CHIC certified and Embark genetically tested.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, red, black and cream, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
