I'm Sheryl S., the breeder behind HiFly'n Bostons located in Sanger, CA. I breed and show dogs. I generally breed when looking for another show dog. I do performance and conformation. These little dogs are not just non-sporting couch potatoes. They are smart, little clowns, with bundles of energy that will quickly carve out a huge place in your heart.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love with the Boston Breed after my first purchased Boston from a really bad breeder. He came with all sorts of health issues. I was able to get them under control and started doing a performance with him. After that, I looked into showing in the breed ring. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase a nice foundation bitch and from there.

  • What makes your program special?

    My Bostons are both Performance dogs and excel in the breed ring, it is important to me to continue that excellence in both areas.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Spine (OFA, FCI), Tracheal Hypoplasia, Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA), Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Animal Genetics Panel, Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
