Why did you start breeding?
Shih Tzus have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My love for this amazing breed began as a child. My family raised and bred Shih Tzus while I was growing up. I helped care for our dogs and puppies.What makes your program special?
My breeding program is focused on raising healthy, happy, well-socialized Shih My goal is not simply to raise beautiful Shih Tzus, but to give each puppy a healthy, confident, well-rounded start in life so they are prepared to become a loved member of their new family.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Cori partners with them to find the best puppy match.

My goal is to help you find a puppy that fits well with your family and lifestyle. If I truly feel that a particular puppy or placement would not be a good match, I will be honest about my concerns and may choose not to move forward with that placement. The well-being of both my puppies and their future families will always come first.”

About Bella
Bella is a female Shih Tzu. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Cori decided to make her part of their program. Cori has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
