I'm Megan H., the breeder behind Horseshoe Drive Kennel located in Green Forest, AR. We are committed to responsible breeding with the best interest of our puppies and dog's health in mind. We work closely with our Veterinarian to ensure our dogs stay healthy and happy. We are truly blessed with an amazing Vet that loves and cares for our pets as if they were his own.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I loved dogs all my life, and decided to share the love by breeding dogs for families looking for a new member.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our newborn babies receive around the clock care in the first 2 weeks of their life, to ensure they are receiving the care they need to thrive and grow up to be a healthy happy dog for their special family someday. My Saints love to 'help' me feed the horses every morning. Our puppies are safely exposed to other animals on the farm.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include apricot, cream, red, parti, and phantom. Saint Bernard puppies are brown and white. Cavapoo puppies include tri-color, red, and blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Megan

Megan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Megan partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes: Vaccinations, Microchip, Registration Application, Deworming, Vet Exam, Health cert/letter, health records, health guarantee. I refund deposit if unfortunate happening occurs in puppy's life while in my care such as death or unforeseen health issues.”

Megan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (PRA-crd1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Megan answered all my questions and was very patient when I couldn’t decide between dogs. I love my sweet girl Ember, previously Hannah. I do wish that after I had bought her there was a little more communication or photos/videos sent. I completely understand being busy, but I had to wait about 5 1/2 weeks to get my sweet girl and it just would’ve been nice to have small updates. Other than that, everything was smooth sailing and I couldn’t be happier with my sweet girl.

    We are a retired couple living in Oklahoma. We moved from CA to OK summer of 2021 and wanted to wait until we were settled into our new life in OK before getting more dogs. We are at a point now where we're ready and settled so we can focus our time and attention to new puppies. A friend sent me a link to Good Dog's website and I found Horseshoe Drive Kennel. I filled out the application on the website and Megan contacted me right away and was always very responsive to my messages and questions. She was very thorough and sent me the exact food and supplements to get ahead of Opal Joy's arrival to our home. I requested updated photo's to see Opal's growth from the 3 week photos posted online. Megan sent several 6 week old pictures. It was great to see the difference in her from 3 to 6 weeks. The day we picked Opal Joy up, Megan had all of our paperwork and Opal's vet visit along with vaccinations given in a folder for us to take home as well as a bag of food. Megan was a joy to work with and I can tell that she puts her heart into raising these puppies and getting them ready for their forever homes. We've had Opal Joy for almost 2 weeks now and she is such a smart, sweet, snuggly and sassy 2.5lb miniature poodle and already lives up to her middle name...JOY. She is such a blessing and she's bringing joy to our friends as well. Thank you Megan.
