I'm Jennifer C., the breeder behind Hula Girl's Bostons located in Toledo, OR. Our puppies are raised in our home and our dogs are apart of our family. Our dogs are tested for JHC and DM. They have also passed hearing, heart and patella screening. Placing our puppies in good homes is extremely important to us.
Q. & A. with Jennifer
Why did you start breeding?
We absolutely love Boston Terriers. When we started to look for them in our area, it was extremely difficult to find any that were local and raised well. We searched rescues and shelters and noticed that there were no Bostons. So we decided to do it ourselves. We focus on health, temperament, conformation, and color.
What makes your program special?
We try really hard to produce "well adjusted" puppies. This means that we expose them to a multitude of stimuli to prevent neurotic behavior.
We talk to and meet our puppy families before accepting a deposit and try to match families with a pup that has the personality and qualities they are looking for.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include seal and white, brindle and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
