We're committed to ethical breeding & a continued effort to enhance the breed standard. We are a selective breeding program that focuses on temperament and the overall well-being of our dogs. We breed to produce happy and healthy puppies that can continue to thrive in their forever homes.

Pepper is a female Labrador Retriever. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Barbara decided to make her part of their program. Barbara has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

About Mya
Mya's tenacity and skill has earned her AKC Junior Hunter. Mya has waterfowl and upland experience with exceptional retrieves and phenomenal skills such as performance and perseverance. Mya has been in the waterfowl season a few seasons now and has already shown her passion for the sport. We look forward to seeing what all this little brown dog is capable of as her career develops.

Excellent level
Humphrey Retrievers reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Labrador Retrievers.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
