I'm Cheri, the breeder behind I Love Pups located in Brooksville, FL. My love for Boston Terriers grew into our small, family-based breeding program. Our puppies are raised with hands-on attention around our family, children, and other dogs. I love getting to know each puppy's personality and raising happy, confident companions for loving families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My love for Boston Terriers is what first led me to breeding. What began as a hobby grew into something I truly enjoy. I love raising puppies from birth, watching their individual personalities develop, and helping families find a companion they can enjoy for many years.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies receive lots of individual attention and are raised around our family, children, other dogs, and everyday household activity. I spend a great deal of time with each litter, which allows me to get to know each puppy's personality. My goal is to raise happy, confident puppies and give them a great start before joining their new families.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, seal brindle and white, seal and white, brindle and white, black brindle and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cheri

Cheri has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Cheri partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $3,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Each puppy comes with a Florida health certificate, veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming. Puppies are raised in our home with lots of attention and socialization to help prepare them for their new families. . A signed puppy contract and $300 non-refundable deposit are required to reserve a specific puppy. Once received, your chosen puppy will be held for you and the deposit will be applied toward the final purchase price.”

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
