Q. & A. with Rachelle

  • What makes your program special?

Breeding healthy, quality, beautiful puppies that meet AKC standards is my goal. All of my adults and puppies are registered with the American Kennel Club. They receive the best veterinary care, food and treats, and they live inside of my home because they are part of my family. My puppies come with limited akc registration, they have their first vaccines and dewormings and a thorough exam by my vet at 7 1/2 weeks of age. I include vaccine records and a written report from my vet with her findings during the puppy exam. You will also receive 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit from an akc affiliated vet. I send an incredible training manual to ensure your success with potty training and a large basket of supplies to get you started. I offer a written contract, a 1 year health guarantee and lifetime support with my babies. I encourage puppy families to come visit and meet me, parents of the puppies and see where puppies are raised. If I can answer any questions, please let me know.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, liver, blue, red, gold and white, liver and white, and blue and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Rachelle was wonderful every step of the way! She was very responsive and super informative about the breed. I was very impressed on how well trained the puppies were at just 8 weeks of age. Rachelle does it right from start to finish. She is the go to person if you want a beautiful Shih Tzu. Loki is doing fantastic and is adjusting well to his new home! I couldn’t have asked for a better puppy. He is so smart and sassy. He is a wonderful addition to our family.

I had a wonderful experience with Rachelle, the breeder of my Shih Tzu, Charlie Brown. He is nearly 11 months old, and he is a happy, healthy boy. I know this is due to the care he received as a young puppy. Rachelle was kind enough to deliver Charlie Brown to my home, and she spent a lot of time explaining everything I needed to know about taking good care of him.

Rachelle was just terrific to work with. She was very responsive to my many inquiries, knowledgeable about the breed, and you can tell she just loves Shih Tzus! We recently lost our older boy, Rocket and were not sure it was right time to get another little guy. Rachelle worked with me and had patience. And she personally delivered him to our home from out of state! Finally, we decided to get Mr. Mowgli and we could not be happier. He is such a wonderful addition to our family, is healthy and loving. Thank you, Rachelle!

A great breeder, very conscientious and caring about her dogs, and a wonderful experience! We love Ellie Mae and Akela, getting bigger and smarter every day! Would recommend Rachelle to anyone looking for a wonderful, healthy pup (or pups!) and addition to the family - so glad we found her!
