I'm Shantele C., the breeder behind Indigo River Toy & Mini Aussies located in Lacombe, LA. Our dogs are pets first and foremost, they are raised in our home and are given all the love and attention they could possibly want. Our Moms and Dads are health tested to ensure we are giving our puppies the best chance to grow up healthy and happy.

What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, red merle, red, and black. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red, blue merle, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Shantele
Shantele has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $250 deposit and between $800 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and 1st dose flea/heartworm prevention. Puppies will also leave with a care package (food, toys, blanket), and 30 days free pet insurance. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be applied to another puppy. Deposits will only be refunded if something were to happen to the puppy while still in my care.”

We truly could not have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, our breeder went above and beyond — she was by far the most responsive of anyone we contacted, always quick to answer our questions and ease our minds.
