Meet ✨ Rune ✨ After his three sisters, Rune waited quite a while to make his appearance into the world. Destiny took a two hour rest break to move him into position. Rune came from high up in her rib cage, and after three breach deliveries, Destiny had a hard time getting him out; He was the biggest puppy and has his daddy's big masculine head, and Destiny struggled to get past his stop. Thankfully, I was able to assist her by gently pulling him out with her next set of contractions. Rune has been an easy going guy right from the start. I worried that he wasn't screaming or getting mad as we were cleaning him off, but it turns out he's just happy to be here and doesn't get mad about much. He's been quiet and docile ever since with hardly a squeak of protest when I started ENS. Rune is named after the timeless inscriptions of centuries past, used not only for written and spoken language, but also as sigils, tools for divination, symbolism, and protection. Norse legend holds that, seeking ultimate knowledge, Odin hanged himself from a branch of the world tree Yggdrasil, pierced by his side with his spear, Gungnir, and hung there for nine days and nights. Near death and driven by a desire for cosmic wisdom, he peered into the depths of the Well of Urd, finally grasping the runes before falling back, empowered by their secrets. The legend of his experience suggests they are timeless, cosmic wisdom rather than human inventions. They served as the voice of the Viking-age, bringing to life myths, legends, and personal messages across the Norse and Germanic world.

Meet ✨ Lore ✨ A hour later, Lore arrived. She was pretty easy going right from the beginning, making little fuss about her arrival. Her markings bear similarities to her Grandpa Valor and Grandma Amy with a blaze that runs slightly askew up her forehead. Last night I made an amusing discovery that Lore may in fact be seal in color rather than black. Time will tell the truth of her color as seal often goes unnoticed initially and becomes more apparent over time. 🤔 Lore is named after the imaginative playground of deep-seated and often unwritten history that helps make works of fiction transform from a mere backdrop to a world that you can step right into. It is the flesh and blood that brings to life the skeleton of any written landscape, story setting, and historical pretext of characters. Lore is the background information that breathes life into a narrative by anchoring it in a sense of reality, even in the most fantastical settings.

Meet ✨ Novella ✨ Novella came into the world without any fuss. She arrived within a half hour of her sister, and dazzled me with her pretty head and flashy markings right from the moment of her arrival. She is going to be breathtaking, just like her daddy, Sweet. And... She bleps! 😭🫶🏻 So far she has been so easy to love. Sweet and easy going, with just enough sass to get her by. She was quickly passed in weight by her sister Quill and is currently the smallest of the litter. Novella was named for the perfectly curated piece of literature that lands somewhere between a sprawling novel and a quaint short story. Every moment of a novella carries weight, every line carries intention. To read a novella in a single sitting is to step briefly into another lifetime. It is another world through which a reader can move. And when it ends, something small but real remains. Not the grand satisfaction of a long novel closed upon finishing the last line, but something more like the feeling that lingers after a piece of music takes you somewhere you didn't expect.

Meet ✨ Quill ✨ She was the first to make her appearance and was the smallest of the four puppies. She worried me a bit at first, because she had so much fluid in her airway when she was born, and it took a lot to clear it out, piss her off, and get her to scream. But since that moment, she's proven herself to be a strong and opinionated little lady who likes to yell about just about everything! Quill bears a strong resemblance to her grandma Jubilee and her Uncle Virtue, has her mama's pretty feminine head, and I think she's gonna have some big toe freckles like her mama has, too! And yes - she bleps! I hope that trait sticks around 🥰 Quill was named for the beautiful and versatile historical writing instruments that were relied upon for centuries. They were capable of extraordinary precision, exquisitely transforming a writer's every thought into artful expression.

Earlier this week, our adventure of a lifetime continued on to it's next step. This wonderful girl delivered four perfect little babies in the early hours of Monday, March 2nd. Sadly, our fifth baby never arrived. When we arrived to the vet to check on him and try to retrieve him, they did not find a heartbeat. I was, and am of course, heartbroken to have lost him, but I'm incredibly grateful to have my perfect girl, and be celebrating the new lives of four stunning little puppies. We have three girls and one boy! Destiny has proven to be an utterly devoted and attentive mama, never letting a single squeak go without investigating, and watching me with great concern when I'm handling her precious babies. I could not be more thankful. 🥹💗🫶🏻

February 25th, 2026 - Day 55 Slowly but surely the puppy room is coming together! I have to say, I think Peanut looks pretty nice in this room. I have been spending the last week refreshing my whelping supplies and putting this room together; it used to be our office and has been commandeered for Destiny. I have a few things that have yet to be delivered, a few things I'm hoping to find on marketplace, but for the most part, I think we are ready. I will be taking the first two weeks off to spend with Destiny and the babies, to ensure that she is comfortable and feeling good as a new mommy, and the babies are safe, healthy, and gaining weight. I will be doing Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction with the babies as well. I'm hoping to find a nice camera as I would like to be able to set up a discord server where I can live stream the puppies. Stay tuned for that info soon!

February 21st, 2026 - Day 51 My baby peanut is noticeably pregnant now. Her waist and tuck up are no longer visible, and she has been wearing her glorious pregnancy coat. The first photo was taken right before we left for our trip to Spain. She had recently blown her coat so she didn't have a lot of it at the time, but you can see a visible difference in how plush she is now. She is in my favorite part of pregnancy - Every morning we cuddle, I rub her tummy gently, and I can feel the babies moving 🥹 Next week we will find out how many babies we will be expecting She's so beautiful. I don't know what it is, because I certainly always think my girls are beautiful. But there is something about them when they're expecting that makes them even more breathtaking to me. I'm so lucky to have her, and I'm so blessed to be preparing to welcome her babies into the world.

About Clarity
How do I find the right words to describe my soulmate? Clarity is the sun that lights my world, the moon and stars that guide me through darkness, she is the life-giving air that I breathe. All that to say, she is my other half and the best thing that has ever happened to me. Clarity is the dog who showed me the magic of a border collie. I've often referred to her as a human in a dog-suit, and she really embodies that statement. She is intuitive, deeply understanding, and incredibly intelligent. She is a trustworthy partner who works incredibly well with me on anything we do together. Clarity was my first performance dog and as such has trained and competed in a number of sports throughout the years. As my first service dog, she worked full time for several years before passing the torch to Valor. Her first sport was disc dog, which we competed in passionately for several years. She has trained and dabbled in rally, dock diving, barn hunt, lure coursing, canicross, mushroom foraging, and herding. Later in her life I got a wild hair and decided to try showing her in the breed ring and I wish I had done so sooner! While she was retired before finishing her championship, she became major pointed and was nearly halfway to her championship with fairly limited showing. Our main sports have been flyball, disc, and shed antler hunting. She is incredibly talented in everything she does, but excels in these sports in particular. At twelve and a half years old, Clarity has earned her Iron Dog title in NAFA flyball - signifying ten years of racing - and is now retired. However, to keep her active and physically fit, she has found a new hobby - agility. I do not plan to compete with her for titles, but she trains weekly for her own fitness and has a blast yelling at me while on the course. Sometimes I think she just likes the sound of her own voice! 😂 My "Spicy Berry" is active, physically fit, her sight and hearing are excellent, and she only has minor arthritis in her feet from years of high impact sports with an ameteur handler. Her veterinarian team and others who meet her regularly comment how they would never guess her age by how fiery and athletic she is - and I wouldn't have it any other way. Clarity has had six puppies, one of which being my wonderful boy Exquisite, whom I treasure deeply.
Border Collie
About Exquisite
Exquisite is a blend of working and show lines on his dam’s side and versatile show lines on his sire’s side, bringing together the best of both worlds. He has drive, biddability, strong herding instinct, and lovely, moderate structure. Exquisite is an AKC Grand Champion and a talented performance dog. He excels in agility training and shed hunting, but also enjoys dock diving, herding, and disc. He is fast and responsive without being overly sensitive - his feelings aren’t hurt by mistakes or repetition. Exquisite is an incredibly honest dog, which makes him a joy to handle in every activity. Beyond his accomplishments, Exquisite is my deeply devoted companion and full-time medical alert service dog who finds happiness simply in sharing space and time with me. He gives the most wonderful hugs and has the most smoochable face. He is everything I hoped for when I bred his litter, and I could not be more in love with him.

Border Collie
About Destiny
Destiny brings together the drive and grit of strong working and performance lines on her sire’s side, with the European versatility of her dam. She finished her AKC championship with unexpected ease, earning a group placement to seal the deal and is now halfway to her Grand Championship! A driven and talented athlete, Destiny excels in agility, but also participates in shed (antler) hunting, dock diving, and herding. She’s fast, biddable, wicked smart, sensitive without being fragile, and impressively resilient. Destiny is a joyful and eager-to-please partner who is also deeply loving and affectionate. She is the best little spoon, and has roughly six thousand kisses ready to deploy at a moment’s notice - whether I want hem or not! In early summer of 2025, she began training to be my medical alert service dog and has excelled at everything I have asked of her. I am ridiculously proud of this girl. She is everything I could ask for and more!
Excellent health testing
Border Collie
About Valor
Valor is my very best Budders, my Budder Boy, my V-Man. He is my second border collie and the first male dog that I've ever had. He has shown me how deeply devoted and affectionate boys are, and what a treat it is to be loved by him. Valor is the kind of dog who makes your day better just by being a part of it. He gives the sweetest kisses and is a wonderful little spoon. Basically, he considers it his job to fill our emotional cups and he does a wonderful job doing so. Valor comes from herding and performance lines and is excellent in both areas. He is naturally very talented on sheep and with very limited training has been able to fetch sheep at a distance in a large pasture and bring them back with a cool and calm head. While my resources for herding have been regrettably limited when it comes to getting more deeply involved in herding, it is one area that he absolutely excels in and he's passed this trait on to his puppies. Flyball is Valor's main sport, but he has also trained and/or competed in disc, shed antler hunting, mushroom foraging, barn hunt, and is my retired service dog after several years of full time work. Valor has a natural heart rate and rhythm alert and is incredibly intuitive and tuned in to the emotions of his people, all of which he has blessed his puppies with. He has chosen for himself a new full time role as my partner's service dog, though Valor works from home these days 😉 Valor has had one litter with Jubilee, from which my Destiny was born. He is now retired.
Good health testing
Border Collie
About Jubilee
Jubilee is my sweet and fun-loving girl whom I imported from Serbia. She comes from a line of beautiful and versatile show-line dogs. Both her dam and sire were international champions in multiple countries and showcased classic European versatility by training and competing in numerous sports as well as herding. Jubi herself is affectionate, intelligent, and very driven. She is an AKC Grand Champion, a UKC Champion, and an IABCA Honors Champion in Gold, exclusively owner handled. Her greatest love is playing flyball, but she also enjoys shed hunting and dock diving. Jubilee has shown lovely herding talent with both sheep and ducks, and she occasionally tries her skills with the cats at home, although they are less than cooperative. Jubilee has had one litter with Valor, from which my Destiny was born. She is now retired and continues to enjoy her performance sports!
