Q. & A. with Janet

  • Why did you start breeding?

After teaching high school students for 31 years, I started the breeding business. A friend who has been a breeder herself for over 20 years, is my mentor.
  • What makes your program special?

The dogs and puppies have my full attention. They are in my house, part of my kitchen and laundry room area. When the puppies are between 4 and 5 weeks old, they are brought outside to potty and play every few hours throughout the day. They are well adjusted to the outdoor grass and weather. The puppies begin sleeping though the night at 6 weeks old.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream and white, chocolate, black, liver and white, black gold and white, black and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
