



I'm Gloria O., the breeder behind JoCo Kennel located in Wendell, NC. Many of our puppies have become exceptional show dogs, and all of them have become excellent family dogs and lifelong friends. Our breeding program stands out because of the personal attention we give to every detail of the journey. From researching breeding pairs and conducting health testing, to purposefully raising each pup with proper socialization and care, our goal is to help preserve this historic breed.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
