I'm Dr. Patricia M., the breeder behind JUBILEE- Flat- Coated Retrievers - AKC AWARD of MERIT BREEDER since 1998 located in Woodstock, GA. We breed correct to the standard for conformation emphasizing the beautiful head type, strong bones and correct topline with tail set. Playful temperament with the ability to work in the field or compete in the agility ring but not limited to playing fetch and staying close by when on a nature hike.

Why did you start breeding?
I showed Maine Coone Cats as a young girl, won the Southeastern Region BIS! Later I decided to do a few dog shows with a FCR that was a gift to me. Everyone commented that she was the most beautiful FCR they had seen. With a great deal of guidance from respected breeders and a PhD in the art of science I began what today, is a well-known and well-respected Jubilee Flat -Coated retrievers.What makes your program special?
My breeding program is highly respected 28 plus years. I have a very successful program as witnessed by National and International awards. I mentor my puppy homes with enthusiasm and love. I remain active in AKC events and conformation. My numerous dog titles simply reflect their hard-working and sweet personalities. I have a passion for this beautiful breed. I only breed flat coated retrievers.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Dr. Patricia

“I take careful consideration on the lifestyle of the buyer. I take into account the desire the family has for the dog. Do they want an active agility dog, a quiet family member, one that swims and plays ball. There are so many variables that go into choosing the right puppy for the right home and thus all the questions on the application. All children in home must be older than age 5.”
Price
“AKC registration, puppy vaccinations performed by a licensed veterinarian. OFA records and a medical health certificate signed by a licensed vet. Prices differ by color (Black $3,000 / Liver $3,500). Liver Flat-coated retrievers are $3,500 while the blacks are $3,000.00 Total payment is accepted at time you pick your puppy up and are 110% delighted with your new family member.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Genetic Diversity Test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
