Due Nov. 2026
I'm JJ S., the breeder behind Junebug Cavaliers located in Alabaster, AL. Our Cavaliers are first and foremost members of our family, raised in our home and underfoot in our everyday lives. My breeding program is built around health, temperament, and genetic diversity, with thoughtful pairings and hands-on care from birth until each puppy joins their family.
Why did you start breeding?
What makes your program special?
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Where do your breeding dogs live?
JJ has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
JJ partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“We carefully consider placement of each puppy with the right family, balanced against the families' preferences and position on the list. Puppies are matched once they are old enough for us to evaluate their temperaments and personalities, usually around 6 or 7 weeks. Please see my website for all the specifics. Some puppies may be reserved for futurity. ”

“The price includes registration, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, vet visits, young puppy socialization, and a start on basic household commands and potty training. The deposit reserves your place in our puppy matching process and selection order and applies to the purchase price. It does not guarantee a particular litter, sex, color, or other characteristic.”
JJ may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If JJ offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to JJ directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from JJ.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
About Stella
Stella is graceful, gentle, and quietly affectionate, with a calm presence that has earned her the nickname “Princess Grace.” She likes to take a moment with new people, watching from a comfortable distance before deciding they’re worthy of an introduction. Once she knows you, however, there seems to be no limit to how much affection she will happily soak up. Stella will curl against your chest, burrow into your neck, or settle into a lap for as long as you’re willing to have her there. She rarely demands attention; if another dog nudges her aside, she simply waits patiently for another opportunity. Stella brings that same gentle affection to the other dogs in our home. She regularly settles into the middle of a Cavalier pile and matter-of-factly grooms their faces, eyes, and ears. She prefers a calm world, soft affection, and people who approach her gently—but she has one wonderfully unexpected exception. When she and her sister Luna decide it’s time to play, all that poise gives way to enthusiastic wrestling, zoomies, and a surprising amount of sisterly roughhousing. Stella is happiest with her people nearby, a comfortable place from which to watch the world, and preferably a treat within reach. She may be our Princess Grace, but underneath all that elegance is an absolute love sponge.

About Luna
Luna is sweet, playful, and delightfully mischievous, with an enormous personality tucked into a dainty little frame. She is deeply attached to her person and is happiest close by—usually curled up in her favorite spot on the left side of a lap. Her affection is soft and gentle: little kisses, quiet cuddles, and a head resting against your chest while she soaks up all the love. Don't let that dainty side fool you. Luna is curious, determined, and always ready for a little trouble. She and her sister Stella play with an enthusiasm that can bring the rest of the room to a standstill, then Luna will happily settle back down for a nap as though nothing happened. She loves stroller rides, pup cups, watching television, meeting new people, and being thoroughly adored wherever she goes. She's a favorite at our veterinarian's office, where her cuddly nature tends to win people over quickly. Dainty, yes. Delicate? Not even a little. About Padfoot
Padfoot approaches life as though something wonderful is always about to happen. He is outgoing, affectionate, endlessly curious, and seems genuinely delighted just to be included. He may bound across the room for a surprise lap visit and a few enthusiastic kisses, then happily settle on the back of a chair or across the room simply because being near his people is enough. Outside, Padfoot's nose takes over. He investigates every corner of the yard with tremendous enthusiasm and seems to know exactly where every chipmunk has ever dared to set foot. But beneath all that exuberance is a remarkably gentle, intuitive side. When someone needs quiet companionship, Padfoot seems to know it. The bouncing stops, and he is content to curl up beside them for as long as they need him. It's one of the reasons we hope to pursue therapy work with him someday. His motto really does say it best: “I'm just happy to be here with you.” OFA CHIC certified 223303.

About Tootsie
Tootsie is confident, charismatic, and completely devoted to his person. He is affectionate without being needy and perfectly content to relax on his own—until he decides it's time for some attention. Then he is wonderfully persistent. A paw, a little grumble, or a well-placed head under your arm usually gets the message across. Tootsie knows what he wants, and more often than not, what he wants is to be close to his person. He is a substantial, athletic Cavalier with a strong build and surprising agility. He can leap onto the bed from a standstill, balance effortlessly on his hind legs, and has no trouble finding his way into a lap when invited—or when he believes the invitation has simply been overlooked. For all that confidence, there is something irresistible about the intensity of his affection. Tootsie doesn't just love his people quietly. He makes sure they know it.
