I'm Diane S., the breeder behind K-9 On The Ridge located in Good Hope, IL. I breed my dogs with all aspects in mind. They must have a great temperament, patience and have a brain. I have been working for 5 years now and have finally started to breed pups I have held back from litters that I have bred. If I wouldn't keep it I wont breed it. I also raise registered Clydesdale Horses and Boar Goats. I live on 160 acres with plenty of room for my dogs to run. I have separate housing for my studs to control breeding. My puppies are also litter trained before they leave me. I have also had a separate room built for my dogs.
Q. & A. with Diane
Why did you start breeding?
I have always had an Aussie in my life and love them. I decided to do some breeding on a very small scale. The herding dogs go hand in hand with the horses and the goats.
What makes your program special?
I just do my best to home my babies and retired adults in the best homes. I stay in contact with the families. I am not a 1 and done breeder. I don't consider my program "special" but I am a people person and I will go the extra mile to do all I can for my families
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

We couldn’t be happier with our new fur baby! Odin is bright, active, and a little snuggle bug! Who could ask for more? His markings are gorgeous, thus he gets all the love and attention he deserves when we’re out and about
