I'm Annette K., the breeder behind Kakazu King Charles Cavaliers located in Wahiawa, HI. Our dogs and puppies are loved and treated as family members. They are socialized with larger dogs, and exposed to a large extended family as well as different environments. We have been breeding for over 20 years. Alan originally was a show breeder, earning his living as an accountant. His passion became rescuing Greyhounds from the track and teaching them to become dogs, transitioning them into homes. Annette and Alan started breeding Golden Retrievers. Through a friend, Annette discovered Cavaliers, and this breed became the love of her life.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My husband has been involved with many different dog breeds, through showing on the mainland. Our beloved Golden Retrievers, Kai and Emi, got us started in breeding once we moved to Hawaii. They were (as BellaDonna, Charli and Tiger are now) our companions in life. We are kahu, to our 4 legged companions. In Hawaiian tradition, that equates to a protector of the breed, rather than owners. This responsibility shapes our approach to breeding, ensuring we nurture and uphold the values that define our connection to them.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program stands out due to its commitment to excellence. We carefully select breeding pairs based on both genetic health and temperament, ensuring that every generation is healthier. Through rigorous screening and ongoing evaluations, we prioritize the well-being of our animals and strive to improve breed standards. In addition, we foster a nurturing environment, providing individualized care and attention to each animal. We are dedicated to continuous education and collaboration with experts to stay at the forefront of advancements in breeding practices. This holistic approach results in animals that not only meet but exceed expectations in quality and character.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $100 refundable deposit and between $3,100 - $4,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes 1st set of shots, deworming, and all vet visits. We also include some kibble the puppies have been weaned to.”

Annette may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
