Meet the breeder
I'm Crystal W., the breeder behind Kalon Cavaliers located in Tyler, TX. All dogs live in our home as beloved pets & we do not have litters often. DNA tested + OFA Certifications. Puppies are raised utilizing Puppy Culture and ENS. All puppies are born in my bedroom and raised in the home. Every puppy is vaccinated, health checked + microchipped by our Veterinarian.

Why did you start breeding?
As a child my mother was a professional handler for AKC conformation and thus I grew up with a constant parade of well bred, purebred dogs.. It's been a lifelong passion of mine.What makes your program special?
My program is small, only 5 dogs that are pets first and foremost. I've imported some dogs from some stunning, healthy genetics with the goal of increased genetic diversity in a challenging breed that has a smaller gene pool than some other breeds. My goal is to product healthy, stable tempered dogs who are sound into their golden years.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

About Odette
Odette is my delightful pint sized little tyrant that can do absolutely no wrong because every single thing she does is insanely adorable. She is a big opinionated personality in a 15lb package and constantly makes us laugh. Odette is very much a momma's girl and considers the bulk of humanity to be mere peasants. We blame any of her more naughty antics on the fact that she's a Virgo and she has mile long list of nicknames - Dett-Dett-Da-Pocket-Pet, Detto-Spaghetto, Po-Sketta, Dammit-Dett-Dett, Dettio-Spaghettio and Detters just to name a few. Odette's best friend is Evelyn, our cat Gyda offends her daily (which Odette is prompt to make her offended status known) and Detto absolutely adores babies and will absolutely try to steal them from other mommas.. She's as silly as she is beautiful.

Eloise, aka Wheezie, Wheezer-Beezer Eloisey-Lemon-Squeasy, Beez-Boo and Beezer is a home bred girl - She is the daughter of my beloved Evelyn and her sire is Aiden, my handsome fella imported from Poland. Wheezie is a soft natured girl who is quiet, calm and sweet in the house and with guests...When she's outdoors, she's a bold adventurer who loves to hike, zoom laps around the yard, raid the chicken coop for eggs, and hang out with the flock of chickens just like her dad does . Wheezie is 16lbs and has DNA testing through Embark and her OFA Cardiac and Patellas done.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
