I'm Danielle T., the breeder behind KaMera Shelties located in Rugby, ND. I offer quality family companions who enjoy sharing in your next adventures. My puppies are raised in my home using ENS and puppy culture. They are exposed to visitors, both dog and human, from an early age to give them a solid foundation.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My time in Shelties began in 2019 when I met my mentor, Peggy Crawford of Peggin Shetland Sheepdogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    I strive to improve my dogs through selective breeding, so that the future generation(s) are capable, smart, healthy companions.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable and white, black white and tan, blue merle white and tan, black and white, and blue merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Danielle

Danielle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Danielle partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Danielle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Dermatomyositis, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
