I'm Kara W., the breeder behind Kara's Cavalier King Charles Spaniels located in Noblesville, IN. My breeding journey began when "Lady" became part of our family 4 years ago. I knew she was an exceptional representation of the breed and felt compelled to share her with others. Her puppies have proven to continue on her best traits of a loving demeanor and stunning physical appearance.
Q. & A. with Kara
Why did you start breeding?
An urge to share this wonderful breed is what ultimately led me to breed our family dog, "Lady". So many AKC breeds have been watered down with cross breeding, I think it is important to continue on with responsible breeding of what I believe is the basis for so many popular family dogs.
What makes your program special?
Health and happiness of "Lady" and her pups has always been the forefront of my practices. Given the singular nature of this endeavor, it has been easy to prioritize health, socialization, natural environments, and training. These pups are crate trained and well on their way of being house trained - mainly because I've treated them the same way I would my own new dog and don't want messes!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
