Meet the breeder

I'm Cissie S., the breeder behind Karma Farm and Kennels located in Taft, TN. With Hunters Rest bloodlines combined with well-vetted and proven Boykin hunting and great temperament bloodlines, we strive to breed the best all-around family/hunting pet. With close attention paid to momma’s physical and mental health, we do our best to provide new owners with well-balanced, healthy, and happy pups.

Q. & A. with Cissie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I love dogs, and my first Boykin, Buster Brown, turned me onto the unwavering loyalty, love, intellect, and drive of the breed. One of my best friends breeds Boykins, and she agreed to mentor me. I have loved the process of breeding these incredible dogs and can't wait to welcome you into this community!
  • What makes your program special?

My mommas all live as a high-functioning pack of girls. I have taken great care to assemble a diverse group of very well-bred girls who love their humans, each other, and their pups. Their life here on the farm is filled with love towards all who come into my gates. My dogs are my passion dogs, and I can't wait to connect with you and your family!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
