Karma's Cavaliers

Meet the breeder

I'm Diana P., the breeder behind Karma's Cavaliers located in Zion Crossroads, VA. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Diana

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating healthy cavaliers as companionship for others. It has been an absolute joy of a journey and I pride myself on helping all of my clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle.
  • What makes your program special?

My main goal in breeding cavaliers is to breed HEALTHY cavaliers. I test for DM (degenerative myelopathy) many breeders do not, but it is a real genetic disease that your dogs can get - most breeders consider it an "old dog (8 years plus) disease," and don't bother with it....but since I plan on my dogs living as long as possible by only breeding dogs without DM and other genetic diseases - I plan on my dogs getting "old"! My dogs and puppies are considered members of my family, and they get the best care I can possibly provide. My commitment is to provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience, and that includes always having responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming my puppies. I will be there for you for the life of your puppy. I have a passion for excellence and healthy family pets, and I have high expectations for my puppies. I always want to ensure each one is placed with an enriching and loving family that will match their temperament and personality.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and white, tri-color, black and tan, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
