I'm the breeder behind Kaste Kennel located in Merrillville, IN. We are not an ordinary kennel; we are a husband and wife who love Shiba Inus. Our Shibas are part of the family and live in our home.
The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.
Q. & A. with Chris
What makes your program special?
We have one couple. Every dog is cared for in our home. No chain, no large property with dozens of dogs, just a home with a male and female who had pups.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are sesame. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
