About Drake
Drake is an exceptional dog. He is attentive, affectionate, consistent, and reliable as a companion, retriever, and stud dog. He exemplifies the breed standard. Drake is participating in the Morris Foundation Golden Retreiver Lifetime Study. Now in his senior years, he enjoys chasing balls, swimming, and relaxing anywhere that is near me. He insists that the last thing I do each night before getting into bed is to give him a pat and tell him what a handsome boy he is. Once this ritual has occurred, he lies down next to our bed and promptly goes to sleep. He is truly a faithful complanion and a treasured part of our family.

About Dante
Dante is a very people oriented dog who loves to spend time with us. He is a medium energy dog who enjoys Trick Dog and Scent Work classes. His goal is to get the most pats and head scratches he can each day. Dante gets along well with all dogs and our indoor cats. He is always interested in a stuffed toy-usually to see how fast he can unstuff it. Dante likes to show us how smart he is by nudging open his kennel/crate door and going in by himself. Spoiler alert, this is where he eats his meals, and he is always in a hurry to get to his food.

About Adele
Adele is a medium-high energy Gordon Setter. If she is outdoors, she is on the move. When indoors, she loves a soft sofa or dog bed when a soft lap is not available. She is a "talker" and has quite the vocabulary of Roos. Adele is very focused on spending time with her people but does not demonstrate separation anxiety when left in the house when we are at work. She is great with children, cats, and other dogs. She loves to ride in the car almost as much as she loves chasing the squirrels in our yard. She demonstrates all the versatile characteristics outlined in the Gordon Setter breed standard. Beauty, Brains, and Bird sense. She completed her AKC Junior Handler title owner handicaped (me) with minimal exposure to birds, demonstrating a strong instinct to hunt. She is a delightful and loyal companion.
