Meet the breeder

I'm Anetrius W., the breeder behind Katy Cavaliers located in Katy, TX. I'm a photographer, wife, & mom of 2 boys who actively serve in the military. All our dogs are AKC registered, health screened yearly & OFA certified. Our dogs are beloved members of our family! It's my goal to maintain breed standard & produce healthy, happy & well-socialized puppies.

Q. & A. with Anetrius

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell in love with the cavalier breed in 2010 when we got our 1st CKCS puppy, Sophie. From health testing, DNA, research on genetics as well as possible coat colors I absolutely love every part of breeding and raising puppies in a way that they reach their full potential.
  • What makes your program special?

I am hands-on with all my dogs & puppies. I send pics often to puppy parents & weekly pro pics. I do as much Puppy Culture as possible while they are with me so they have a great head start on all aspects of training by the time the puppies go to their furever homes. I create family FB groups for each litter when they leave & include lifetime breeder support.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
