I'm Kay F., the breeder behind Kayra Pomeranians located in Nuevo, CA. I have been a show breeder for close to 30 years. I raise my puppies totally in my house. I offer top quality, loving family/show pets with a focus on health and temperament. I want to continue learning and doing something good for the breed. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs, even if I was scared to death of them. Once while at a county fair, I saw the cutest dog I had ever seen. They had a dog show so I was able to find out that he was a Pomeranian. He was gorgeous. I felt differently towards him than any other dog. When I finally got home and we decided to get a dog, of course, I only wanted to get a Pomeranian. To make a long story short, we ended up with three. Soon after I started breeding.What makes your program special?
I am a show breeder. I breed following the AKC standard. I breed for health, personality, temperament, then colors, then the rest of the standards that AKC states.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
