I'm Margaret N., the breeder behind Kemar located in Donalds, SC. We offer AKC registered pets bred for good temperament and good conformation. Parents are health tested before breeding and puppies are cared for by a veterinarian. All shots are given by our vet. We are a small kennel with high expectations! We strive to produce healthy, loving dogs that will excel in their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
It is my passion to breed these incredible dogs and help ensure the future of Chihuahuas and Whippets. It is important to me that I not only preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come!What makes your program special?
My breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention I give to every detail of the journey. I am committed to looking out for the breed as a whole. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and beauty of my quality puppies.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Chihuahua puppies are black sabled fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Margaret
Margaret has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include between $1,200 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“No deposit is required. We require all puppy buyers to fill in an application and do an in-person interview when we can. If an agreement on a specific dog is reached, a contract is executed for the purchase.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
