Meet the breeder

I'm Kaylin D., the breeder behind Kenny Cave K9s located in Neosho, MO. Here is a little about us! We have a cozy little farm in the small town of Neosho, MO. It is full of lots of love, laughter, and lots and LOTS of animals! Everything from to goats to chickens and everything in between! Our passion is our dogs, we currently raise Shiba Inus!

Q. & A. with Kaylin

  • Why did you start breeding?

Me and my husband have been corgi lovers forever and in 2015 we decided that we wanted to raise them and provide other families with the joy that a precious corgi can bring! We later transitioned into raising Shiba Inus and we have loved it so much.
  • What makes your program special?

We focus very heavily on socialization and healthy puppies so that when they go to their new home they are as ready as possible!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, red, black and tan, and sesame. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I am so happy with our little Shiba. Kaylin was very sweet and everything was done efficiently. Had all my questions answered promptly. Definitely would buy from her again in the future.

Kaylin is usually great with her interactions and communication, and my experience with her was wonderful. Benny was a surprise gift for my brother to make his family complete, and it was the best gift yet! Benny is exactly how Kaylin described him—a stubborn brat when he wants to be, but he loves his food and treats, haha, and adores my other dogs. Sometimes, he’d rather lounge on the patio or grass, but he still loves playtime at the park or beach. I couldn’t ask for a better furry baby! My brother has the best shadow, and he also loves hanging with him at the firehouse. Next dog I might get, I’d definitely think about coming back!

Kaylin was responsive, great communication, we stayed in touch all the time before and after the transaction, even after getting the puppy, now the puppy is doing amazing, strong, pretty and with a great personality, I hope if in the future I needed be able to interact again, fully recommended

We had a fantastic experience with Kaylin. Our puppy, Miko, is the perfect blend of goofy and friendly—she makes us laugh every day—and while she can be a bit stubborn, it’s part of her big personality and keeps training fun. From the moment she came home, she was curious, sweet with people, and eager to bond. We also appreciated the clear communication and updates along the way—it made the whole process easy and reassuring. We’re so grateful for Miko and highly recommend Kaylin to anyone seeking a well-rounded, loving companion. When we are ready, we will be back for another one!

Was incredible! very easy to talk to, worked around my chaotic work schedule, supplied my pup with a ton of free toys, food, leash, and collar. Obi has been such a great pup, very well behaved, so lucky to purchase our new member of the family from them!
