I'm Kids and Canines, the breeder behind Kids and Canines located in Gallatin, TN. At Kids and Canines, near Nashville, TN, we raise our King Charles Cavalier Spaniels as part of our family. We want each puppy to find their forever home where your new family pet will be cherished and adored for years to come. We are a small hobby breeding family and our puppies will be handled often and receive individual care working towards transitioning them into your family and age appropriate expectations.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After spending a few years reading and researching about this fantastic breed and realizing how much I love raising newborn puppies, I wanted to pour into these dogs from a young age before going to their forever home.

  • What makes your program special?

    All of our pups are raising in our living room and are socialized and loved on from a very young age. Our pups will come to you with a vet's clean bill of health, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. The sire and dam have completed genetic testing. The sire is AKC and the dam is ACA certified.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kids and Canines

Kids and Canines has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kids and Canines partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,999 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes vaccinations, deworming, a microchip and take home puppy kit. Deposits are non-refundable but may be used towards another puppy or litter.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kids and Canines may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Kids and Canines offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them.   • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

A true testament to their love for their animals was a comment made by all of the staff at the Veterinary Clinic.
