Q. & A. with Leann
Why did you start breeding?
My husband grew up in Western Kansas. His family had a feedlot and they worked Aussies on it. When we decided to get a dog of our own, we already knew we wanted an Australian Shepherd -- we were just unsure of what size. After researching breeders, we found this wonderful lady in Tennessee, and it all started from there.
What makes your program special?
Kinsley's Cuties & SouthPaw Creations is a small hobby breeder located in Kansas City, MO. We breed ASDR Toy and Mini-Aussies. Our Aussies are home-raised and well socialized. Our main priority is ensuring the health and well-being of each Aussie from birth until they leave with their forever family - and beyond. This is why, each dam and sire are genetically tested, and DNA verified. We strive in creating the best companion for your family with all-purpose potential.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
