I'm JANET B., the breeder behind KnJ Precious Paws LLC located in Aurora, MO. Having dogs in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We do our best to make sure that our puppies find the perfect families/ individuals with lifestyles that will complement these amazing breeds.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I am fortunate to live in a rural area and be able to raise and share these amazing creatures with others.

  • What makes your program special?

    I know how special dogs are. I truly believe that they are a living example of God's unconditional love. The joy and companionship that they bring to their people on a daily basis is what made us want to raise amazing puppies and give others the same lifelong companionship we experience on a daily basis.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Morkie puppies are black & tan tri-color. Poodle puppies include apricot, brown, cafe au lait, cream, red, white, and parti. Maltese puppies include white and white and tan. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include chocolate, tan and white and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from JANET

JANET has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, JANET partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"The price includes a health guarantee, registration papers, microchip, a microchip registration application, a current vaccination record, a Missouri health certificate, and a veterinary health report with fecal taken. This nonrefundable deposit secures your puppy and holds it until it is seven weeks old. At that time, the remaining balance for the puppy's price must be paid in full. If transportation is needed, it must also be paid in full at seven weeks."

JANET may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

    Janet was great to work with during the process of buying my Mal-Shi puppy, Barney. She offered video calls and on site visits as well as weekly videos/photos, health/development updates and provided quick professional/friendly/knowledgeable responses. At the time of pickup she provided a thoughtful and comprehensive goodie bag that had everything we could possibly need for the trip home including harness, leash, training pads, waste bags, food, travel water bowl, toys, blanket and much more.     Finding Janet and KnJ Precious Paws was a blessing. We lost our last fur-baby in October and I started looking just to see what I saw out there. I came upon Good Dog and Janet and loved every minute of working with her to bring Gracie and Toby home. They sent weekly updates and pictures and were very easy to work with to pick them up. They care so much for their dogs and puppies. You could tell that the puppies had been handled. They got to our home and felt right at home.     Janet gave us a great experience overall. Every time I had a question or concern, she answered almost immediately.
