I'm JANET B., the breeder behind KnJ Precious Paws LLC located in Aurora, MO. Having dogs in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We do our best to make sure that our puppies find the perfect families/ individuals with lifestyles that will complement these amazing breeds.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I am fortunate to live in a rural area and be able to raise and share these amazing creatures with others.

  • What makes your program special?

    I know how special dogs are. I truly believe that they are a living example of God's unconditional love. The joy and companionship that they bring to their people on a daily basis is what made us want to raise amazing puppies and give others the same lifelong companionship we experience on a daily basis.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Yorkshire Terrier puppies include chocolate, tan and white and black and gold. Maltese puppies include white and white and tan. Poodle puppies include apricot, brown, cafe au lait, cream, red, white, and parti. Morkie puppies are black & tan tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from JANET

JANET has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, JANET partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a health guarantee, registration papers, microchip, a microchip registration application, a current vaccination record, a Missouri health certificate, and a veterinary health report with fecal taken. To secure your puppy, a nonrefundable deposit is required. This deposit holds your puppy until it reaches seven weeks of age. At that time, the remaining balance of the puppy's price must be paid. If you require transportation for your puppy, this fee must also be paid in full when your puppy is seven weeks old.”

JANET may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     I contacted Janet and inquired about a new family member for myself and my husband. She got back with me right away, I ask questions and she answered me right away I liked her, making a decision like this is hard sometimes especially if you lost a fur kid. (15 years) I found a Shih Tzu that I wanted to inquire about, Janet set up a video call so I could see her. She was gorgeous, such a little sweetheart with a lot of spunk, exactly what we were looking for. I ask to see her Mom and Dad just to see where she came from, not only did she show me her parents but she showed me her facility. Janet has such a nice establishment clean and all the Dogs were well cared for. The buying process was smooth no pressure, we set up time to meet and they were right on time for pick up. My little girl came with a care package, that I was not expecting.. nice surprise. I brought her home, I had some questions being a nervous new Mom, so I reached out to Janet and she answered me right away and checked on everything the next morning. I’m sure if I have anymore questions all I have to do is reach out, I am thinking that 30 years of raising fur kids she’s got some good advice.     If you've ever lost a best friend and didn't think you could bear to care for another dog, and then a friend introduces you to gooddog.com and another very good friend refers you to their incredible experience and the woman who knows just how you feel. From day 1 meeting Janet in a phone call and messages through gooddog.com, I encourage you to do what I did - continue the conversations until a dog appears from one of her litters - you will experience frequent messages & pictures as your new baby grows, enjoy FaceTime, ask questions, anything you may be concerned about - Janet will give you the answers you need - and in my experience - at just the right time. Today (7/7/26) my two puppies arrived to their new home, they are 10 weeks old. We were fortunate to live near the friend who introduced us - they also have 2 puppies from Janet. All four played together for a long time; we enjoyed so much love and laughs - the puppies have been raised with a whole lot of love and it shows. All humans and puppies had and will continue to have great fun together.

    We recently brought home our sweet Lola and had such a wonderful experience working with Janet. From the beginning, Janet was incredibly responsive and made the whole process feel easy and personal. She offered a video call so we could meet Lola, sent weekly photos and videos, and was so patient answering all of my questions - from allergies and supplies to transport logistics. Most importantly, Lola has been everything we hoped for. She is the sweetest puppy, very well socialized, and has the perfect temperament for our family. Our kids absolutely adore her. When Lola arrived, she came with all of the paperwork plus thoughtful extras that made it feel extra special. We were honestly hesitant about getting a puppy online, but this experience far exceeded our expectations.
