I'm Vanessa K., the breeder behind Knotts Dalmatians located in Elko, NV. Both our Sire and Dame come from a good stock background. They are both around other animals and kids. They are energetic, fast paced, loving, cuddling type of temperament. They go EVERYWHERE with us, they are our family and we love them unconditionally.
Q. & A. with Vanessa
Why did you start breeding?
My husband used to breed pugs and I used to breed Chihuahuas. We got into Dalmatians when we found out our boys were diagnosed with autism and were looking for a dog to keep up with them. And we did, they absolutely LOVE them and enjoy being able to play and switch to cuddling. We couldn’t have picked a better breed for them.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because they have been around livestock, they assist with special needs children and also just children in general. Our dogs come from a loving, caring, nurturing home and we are sharing that with you all. They are still family, each and every one of them.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
