I'm Katrina N., the breeder behind Kobushi Shiba located in Clarksville, TN. I take the breeding of dogs very seriously. All my dogs are health tested with results registered with OFA. Each litter is carefully planned and hand-raised to ensure happy and healthy puppies. I keep one puppy from each litter to further my program. Pets are placed with a spay/neuter contract. My passion is poured into every aspect of my breeding program. I truly love my dogs and what I do!
Q. & A. with Katrina
Why did you start breeding?
My love for Shiba Inus inspired me to share this breed with the world in a responsible way. I devote my time, energy, and attention to each litter to ensure puppies get the best start in life.
What makes your program special?
I am a professional handler of Shiba Inus. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. My involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I will always stand behind my puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
