Q. & A. with Carmen
Why did you start breeding?
I started showing as a Junior handler at 14 for fun and then when I turned 17 I started mentoring other juniors and peewees to show and handle, I am very passion about preserving my breeds and the lines ( I work with some known names in the breeds I have but I like to preserve old kennel names that have proper structure and temperment the best. It’s all about making sure the dog is healthy for me.
What makes your program special?
I focus on temperament and structure first and foremost and have some older less known names in my Collies pedigrees. I have dogs with great movement and Upper shoulders which is very hard to find now a days I have found from observation, I will mentor and always be there for all of my clients! We are a family but I do have contracts for my dogs!!!!
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black white and tan, sable merle, blue merle, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
