I'm Kelly R., the breeder behind Kuntry Tyme Shih Tzus located in Pleasant Shade, TN. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We treasure each puppy in our program and give them all the attention and care that we possibly can. We work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family!

Why did you start breeding?
My Grandmother started breeding toy poodles when I was two years old. My early childhood memories are helping her with all her babies.What makes your program special?
We try to maintain AKC standards of the Shih Tzu. Breeding for health over anything, then striving for temperament, and color. Working with breeders all my life and with veterinarians for several years has expanded my knowledge.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, gold, brindle and white, black white and silver, black and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Kelly was just wonderful. Always there if you had questions. Loved the camera where we could see the puppy. So felt like we did not lose out on any of her early growth. When we picked her up she had all the paperwork, food, supplement and all information we might need. It was a great experience. Bebe is a happy well adjusted puppy. We got our sweet Shih Tzu, Leona (formally Noel), from Kelly at Kuntry Tyme Shih Tzu. Kelly is very nice and great to work with. She was extremely helpful through the process of getting our puppy, sent photos, and is very knowledgeable. I can tell she loves her dogs as well as all the puppies! Leona has a great temperament, is sweet, and also well socialized. She loves meeting new people and certainly doesn’t know a stranger! She also came puppy pad trained. She is the sweetest puppy! I definitely recommend getting a Shih Tzu from Kelly. I can’t thank her enough for our Leona!
