I'm Sergey K., the breeder behind KurguzkinShiba located in Brooklyn, NY. We are a small home-based Shiba Inu breeder in New York. Our dogs are raised in a family environment with daily interaction and early socialization. We focus on preserving the authentic temperament of the Shiba Inu while producing healthy, well-balanced puppies for loving homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My interest in Shiba Inu began many years ago when I first learned about the breed’s history and unique temperament. Over time this interest grew into a deep passion for the breed and responsible breeding.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program focuses on temperament, health and preserving the authentic character of the Shiba Inu. Puppies are raised in a home environment and receive early socialization with people and everyday household life. We carefully select families and are always happy to support puppy owners after they bring their puppy home.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sergey

Sergey has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Sergey partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes vaccinations appropriate for age, microchip, veterinary health check and UKC registration paperwork. A $500 deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future litter if necessary.”

Contract & health guarantee

Sergey may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
