I'm Kaylynn C., the breeder behind KW Kennels located in Martinton, IL. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We work hard to breed exemplary dogs that are well taken care of from day one and are prepared to excel in loving and caring homes. We adore our dogs and puppies, and we strive to place each pup in a home suited to their temperament and personality.
Q. & A. with Kaylynn
Why did you start breeding?
I raised beagles for years and my dad has for almost 50 years now. I got my first sheltie when I was a freshman in college and the rest is history! I absolutely fell in love with the breed. So intelligent, loyal, playful and of course beautiful. I enjoy raising a litter or two a year with my son. He learns so much just like I did with my dad raising beagles.
What makes your program special?
Here we raised truly beloved pets. They are raised in our home and very well socialized. My adult shelties are all genetic tested and clear. I’m an advocate for every puppy to get a great home and willing to work with anyone no matter the distance.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and white, black white and tan, sable and white, and sable merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

So glad we found Kaylynn through
GoodDog. We had been searching for a reputable and reliable breeder who knows shelties and would take the time to work with us as we searched for our perfect little puppy. Kaylynn was great to work with throughout the entire adoption process, providing us with updates and pictures of our puppy, through the GoodDog app. We are so thankful to Kaylynn for the love and care she provided the puppies until we were able to pick up our little girl and bring her home.
