Q. & A. with Carissa
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding from my sister. I had an instant love for the English Labradors, they are like no other breed I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I invested in my pups, adopting them all at 8 weeks of age. I raised them in my home with lots of love, attention and training. I want to spread the love to other families who will love what my dogs produce.
What makes your program special?
My dogs are genetic health tested which is a big deal! I know who carries what so that your puppy is healthy! They are also OFA hip tested to cut down on hip dysplasia. Your future puppy is raised in my home. Their first 8 weeks of life they are with me, learning every day. They are well socialized and handled. I treat them as family until they go to their forever home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
