I'm Sarah T., the breeder behind Laik’s Little Shihtz & Poms located in Stroud, OK. As conscientious breeders, we are proud of the loving, smart, and beautiful puppies we’re able to provide. We understand the responsibility of breeding in order to do better for the breed and the families that love them! We spend lots of time socializing and training our pups.

Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding, because of our love for the breeds, and the joy they provide to us. We wanted to share that with other families and individuals, by being able to provide a beautiful, smart new member to their household.What makes your program special?
We socialize our puppies from birth, so they’re loving, smart and playful when they reach their new furever homes. Our babies continue to uphold and exceed the standards of their breed. We’re always in contact with new families, to answer any questions they may have along the way!Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Sarah partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Cost of our pups, include vaccinations, worming, initial wellness check, health guarantee/contract, and a custom welcome bag for your new pup! We ask for a deposit to put your fur baby on hold, balance paid at or by pickup. This guarantees to us, that you’re a serious buyer, and guarantees you that the puppy you select, is yours!”

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+4Sarah was responsive from the first time I messaged her inquiring about Horatio (now Murphy). She patiently answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. When the day came for us to pick up Murphy, we met Sarah's sweet family and were shown the area where the puppies are kept and raised, which was a green flag for me. We even got to see a newborn puppy. So cute! When professional dog breeders will show you puppy raising areas, you know they are reputable and honest. The dogs all seemed very happy, healthy and relaxed. Sarah was honest, kind and very down to earth. I'd sincerely recommend her to anyone looking for a reputable, honest, professional breeder to get a healthy and well-taken care of puppy from. We had been waiting to add a new family member to our home for about a year. We found Sarah’s profile on good dog and began to communicate back and forth. She was professional, kind and an outstanding communicator. She answered every question. She share pictures of Vixen with us and we just knew we were going to grow our family under Sarah’s guidance. When we went to pick up our new puppy we were greeted by the whole family! It was great to see and meet everyone. Vixen was super sweet and so well socialized. We received a little care package with toys, food a bed and treats as well as her medical records. Sarah spent time educating us not just at the pickup but afterwards as well with any questions. +4Sarah is an excellent breeder and very easy to work with. This was my first time working with a breeder, but Sarah made the experience very simple and rewarding.
