I'm Andrea B., the breeder behind Lake Forest Bostons located in Spring City, TN. We breed high-quality puppies. We love what we do and are committed to producing well-bred, healthy puppies for loving homes. Raising puppies has been so much fun and we take our role in raising them seriously. Breeding has helped us share the joy of our dogs with other families and individuals.
Q. & A. with Andrea
Why did you start breeding?
We do not breed as a primary source of income. We have a few litters a year that are raised in home.
What makes your program special?
These babies are in home with their parents, our other Boston, cats and 3 teenagers. I feel this helps the babies when they go to their forever homes
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Litter update on 21 Dec. 2024 •
All babies have went to their forever homes and I just want to say …. THANK YOU!!!! Adding a new puppy to your home is sometimes very stressful, much less adding a new puppy at the holiday season and in cold weather. So from the bottom of my heart, I do want to thank each and every one of you. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and your new little fur babies bring lots of great memories.
On the way to the vet for shots and check ups. I’ll update everyone when we get done.
In the mean time, I wanted to share a few things we use for our babies.
These reusable puppy pads are amazing. Comes in different sizes. Disposable ones can get expensive and get shredded easily.

We feed the babies Purina One Healthy Puppy. Our adult eat Purina One small bites beef & rice.
The pictures show both items as well as the puppy play mobile like we built for the babies. The picture of from a company that sales them. Ours is just white. Even our older dogs like it :)

Parent health testing
Breeder-Reported Testing
Good level
Lake Forest Bostons reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Boston Terriers.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
