I'm Amanda L., the breeder behind LeBaron Standard Poodles located in La Verkin, UT. We are small hobby breeders who focus on producing dogs with amazing health! Our dogs are part of our family. The pups are always raised within our home and around our four children. We set our pups up for success by following “Puppy Culture” to ensure they are properly socialized before going home to their new families!

Why did you start breeding?
Our love for Poodles and their intelligent, playful nature inspired us to expand the breed in a responsible way and share them with all of you! Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the Poodle will continue to thrive for generations to come.What makes your program special?
Our dams and sires are all genetically tested and clear from all genetic diseases related to the breed. We also make sure they have had additional testing done such as CAER eye certification, either PennHip or OFA hip screening, thyroid, and/or heart testing before they are bred. This ensures that we are doing the best we can to offer you the most healthy pups possible.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Amanda
Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“Includes a 2 year congenital health guarantee, limited AKC registration, vaccinations, deworming, $100 spay/neuter rebate (after completion) tail/dewclaw removal according to breed standard & more. Deposits are refundable if notice is given before the puppy is 3 weeks old. After that time, deposits are non refundable. If requested, they can be put toward a puppy in the next litter if available.”

About Luna
Luna is a female Poodle about 6 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Amanda decided to make her part of their program. Amanda has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Parent health testing

LeBaron Standard Poodles reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Standard Poodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
