I'm Jenny P., the breeder behind Legacies located in Dalzell, SC. Due to the rising number of crimes against breeders and puppy scams, I meet people at a police or sheriff's dept, and take cash payments at that time (Deposit to hold a puppy). The intent is to keep everyone safe!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I purchased dogs near me that were not at all in the health condition they should have been, and were not at all breed standard. I decided that my area needs someone with the experience that offers the level of care and love that I provide, so that people have the option to purchase a high quality, breed standard dog.

  • What makes your program special?

    The parents of my puppies are my personal pets, living in my home, whelped in my bedroom while I midwife. They run and play in the yard, sleep in the bed, on the sofa, and/or on their memory foam, gand built bed. Toys riddle my floor and so does fur. I spend most of my life cleaning and I wouldn't have it any other way.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jenny

Jenny has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Deposit required to hold because when people back out, the puppy is here longer and not up available to other potential families. This way I can be sure you're serious and I'm happy to hold. Deposits are 1/2 of the price of the puppy. Emergency situation might warrant 50% of deposit refund after puppy has been placed in a new home. I reserve the right to deny any deposit refund.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jenny may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
