I'm Lisa C., the breeder behind Legend Cavaliers located in Albany, GA. We decided to start breeding to share the best possible puppies with excellent personalities, temperament, and most of all health! Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.

Why did you start breeding?
In 2004, a dear friend, Cindy, arrived at my Ocala Florida horse farm with a pair of darling Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies in tow. It was my first encounter with the breed, and I was immediately mesmerized by their sweet expression and the lovely colors of their shiny coats. Cindy unexpectedly thrust them both into my arms, and the pups instantly nuzzled into the crook of my neck and showered me with kisses as if I were a long lost friend. I was hooked! I absolutely had to have one, so I made finding quality showing and breeding stock my "mission impossible" for the next year or so. Since I had spent the prior 20 years breeding Thoroughbred race horses, showing and breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniels was a natural continuation along my path. I was so very lucky to find a long-time breeder with exceptionally healthy bloodlines who trusted in me and agreed to sell me one of her champion bloodline pups with the agreement that she would become my mentor. We remain close friends to this day.What makes your program special?
If you come to me for a Cavalier you probably already understand that you are not just buying a pet, you are adding a family member to your household. With the proper care and guidance, your puppy will be with you for many years to come. To this end, I promise to be available to every new puppy owner with 24/7 mentoring and support for the life of the dog. You will receive all of the manuals I have created with plenty of information on everything from housebreaking, vaccinations, grooming, health, training, diet and exercise, and much more.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Lisa
Lisa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Lisa partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
Price
"This includes full vet exam, health certificate, bill of sale with one year health guarantee, AKC registration papers, microchip, pedigree certificate, first round of vaccinations, and parasite exam. Deposits are refundable if for some unusual reason I am unable to provide the puppy (which has never happened). If you decide to wait for another litter the deposit will be applied forward."

Fizzy is a very beautiful Cavalier; her coat is soft with deep chestnut markings on a pearly white background, and long silky ears. She has those huge eyes that will melt your heart. Her pedigree contains a long line of outstanding AKC Champions, including her sire PLUS a full brother which are both AKC titled Grand Champion Gold, a very difficult achievement rarely awarded. Fizzy has a quiet, laid back personality and is a gentle, loving dog who is easy to care for and a very good mother to her puppies.

Silver Charm is a true Love-Bug in every sense of the word. She will jump on my lap when I am watching TV and nudge me if I accidentally stop petting her or rubbing her belly. Those big, round, soulful eyes of hers have a way of communicating her desires, and expressing her loving nature. She can also be very fun loving, adorably chasing my other Cavaliers around the couch while playing hide and seek.

"Jazz" is a lovely AKC registered Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a special personality. She follows me everywhere I go, supervising me in the kitchen with those huge brown eyes and patiently waiting for a treat. She always aims to please with plenty of kisses, and loves to cuddle up in the crook of my arm to take a nap. Jazz is extremely quiet and gentle, and a very attentive mother to her babies, keeping them clean and well fed throughout their infancy. Her AKC registered name is Legendcrest City of Stars.

Maggie Mae is a silly, fun-loving, frivolous funny girl. She prances and dances when she wants a treat, and her adorable antics make for many hours of happy entertainment for all. She must carry a toy with her wherever she goes, and she can toss it in the air and catch it again, just for the fun of it! But when it comes to her puppies, she takes things very seriously and watches over her brood with much care ant attentiveness. I really adore this little girl!!!!!! She is on the smaller size, about 15 pounds of endless joy.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
