Meet the breeder

I'm Ashlie P., the breeder behind Legendmaker MAS located in Leitchfield, KY. Since 2005, Legendmaker MAS has raised quality AKC & ASDR puppies in Central Kentucky since 2005. What began with Ashlie's beloved dog Sydney grew into a lifelong passion for the breed. At Legendmaker, we focus on temperament, health, and matching each puppy to the perfect forever home.

Why did you start breeding?
I started raising dogs in high school with Jack Russells, but everything changed when I got my first Australian Shepherd in 2005. She was my best friend, therapy dog, and constant companion. Her intelligence, gentle temperament, and loyalty made me fall completely in love with the breed. She was the foundation of my program, and her bloodlines still carry through Legendmaker today
What makes your program special?
What makes Legendmaker special is our focus on temperament, health, and preserving the best qualities of the breed. Our dogs are health tested, carefully paired, and raised with love on our farm. We strive to produce friendly, confident companions with excellent temperaments. Every breeding is thoughtfully planned to complement and better the breed, and every puppy always has a home with us if needed.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Ashlie

Ashlie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ashlie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Our goal is to create successful lifelong matches where both the puppy and family can thrive together.”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppies include a lifetime genetic health guarantee, 48-hour parasite/viral guarantee, AKC/ASDR registration, vaccines, microchip, deworming, puppy pack, vitamins, toy, blanket & food sample. A $500 nonrefundable deposit secures your puppy. Deposits may be transferred to another puppy or future litter and never expire if timing changes.”

Ashlie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Dora
Double A-Dora Mae “Dora” Dora is a beautiful dual-registered female, registered as an AKC Miniature American Shepherd and ASDR Toy Australian Shepherd. Standing 13 inches tall and weighing 25 pounds, she is a compact, well-built girl with a sweet disposition and an exceptional ability to produce beautiful puppies. Dora is 100% clear on genetic testing and is red factored. She is known for her calm, easygoing temperament and very low-drive personality, making her an excellent companion and a joy to live with. Dora would much rather be curled up beside her favorite person than looking for trouble. She is a true cuddle bug who loves affection and attention. As a producer, Dora consistently stamps her puppies with the traits we love most about her. She produces exceptionally small puppies with rich, gorgeous copper trim and clean, minimal white markings. Her puppies are known for their beautiful coloring, sweet temperaments, and compact size. Dora has been a valuable part of our breeding program, and we are incredibly proud of the puppies she has produced. She is scheduled to retire from our breeding program in 2026, making her upcoming litters especially meaningful as we celebrate her contribution to Legendmaker and the families who love her puppies.

About Lane
Lane is our adorable little blue merle toy Aussie and AKC Miniature American Shepherd with the biggest personality packed into his tiny 10-pound frame. Standing just 11 inches tall, Lane is an absolute fluff ball with the softest coat and endless hair that everyone falls in love with instantly. He has the richest copper I have personally ever seen and is a dream dog to me! More than anything though, Lane is known for his incredible temperament. He has never met a stranger and truly loves everyone he meets. He is the kind of dog that wants to be right beside you at all times whether he is curled up in your lap, being carried around like a baby, or giving his signature little cheek kisses. Lane is sweet, affectionate, playful, and full of charm. He has the happiest little spirit and brings so much joy everywhere he goes. He is the perfect combination of beautiful, loving, and absolutely irresistible everything we adore about the breed wrapped up into one tiny fluffy boy. Lane is still actively showing! We are hoping to add more titles to his name in 2026!
