I'm Tracy K., the breeder behind Lemontree Clumbers located in Rib Mountain, WI. AKC conformation and performance Clumber Spaniels, growing from the roots of those that have dedicated their lives to the breed. Our Clumbers are bred for health, temperament, soundness and breed type. We compete in the conformation ring and in the performance venues. To ensure a well rounded puppy, they are raised in-home, exposed to a variety of stimuli. We are carrying on our mentor's breeding program with her approval.
Q. & A. with Tracy
Why did you start breeding?
I've had dogs all my life. I never realized how well a dog could be bred until my first Clumber girl. My breeder/mentor bred the best dogs she could through health testing, attention to temperament, keeping breed type and structural soundness for physical longevity. As she steps back from the physical demands of breeding, I am taking over, with her as a resource for any guidance I may need.
What makes your program special?
I am carrying on a long line of well bred, health tested Clumbers, ones that are highly awarded in the show ring and versatile in performance. I personally handle them in both, solidifying the bond between us. I raise my puppies in our home, from birth on, exposing them to all kinds of stimuli, ensuring the best puppy I can. I consider my owners family and love to hear about my puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
