I'm Sarah B., the breeder behind Liberty Pups located in North Lawrence, OH. Our puppies are bred in a positive, family environment with love, holistic organic nutrition, and plenty of exercise. Our parent dogs are OFA tested and genetically cleared to produce healthy puppies. We hope that our puppies' new homes will love and cherish them just as much as we do!
Q. & A. with Sarah
Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to put our passion for Cavachons to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine!
What makes your program special?
We are strong and passionate advocates of proper breeding practices and run our program accordingly. We follow a holistic approach to health and offer our four-legged family members only the best organic and natural food/supplements for optimal nutrition. Our dogs go for daily walks to get exercise and enjoy the great outdoors! After play time, they are content to snuggle up for a good nap!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Cavachon puppies include ruby, apricot, and blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Profile
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
